So for my 4th trip to Bali in the last 2 years.  I decided it was time to take my husband and son on their first trip overseas and for them to find out why I love Bali.

I was fortunate to have won a prize on Instagram which included some activities in Bali, which we were able to utilise during our trip,  from a selection of  Instagram accounts ie @laninulu11 , @ilovebaliboutique, @minimuncherbali, @lovebalilove, @furamaexclusiveoceanbeachbali, @balizoo, @furamavillasubud @balifitnessescape @balicustombike.

We were not able to utilise all the prizes as there were so many wonderful things included.

But we did get to experience an amazing day trip with @lovebalilove with our wonderful driver Kadek for the day. Visiting the Tegenungan waterfall and the new  River club, Barong Dance, Monkey Forest, silver jewellers, woodcarving, Tegallalang rice terraces.
This was our first day in Bali and a very busy one ending back at our hotel in time for dinner.

I scored myself some lovely sarongs, and tops from @ilovebaliboutique along with a lovely silver "I  Love Bali " necklace. And now that i am back in Australia , the sarong is very nice and soft and it takes me back to my Bali memories.

We were treated to some very yummy and healthy treats from @minimuncherbali , yummy selection of treats made especially for us to try, using natural ingredients and packaged with sustainability in mind and Zero waste project in Bali.

We had a pleasant nights stay @furamaexclusiveoceanbeachbali. The highlight of this stay was the location, across the road from the beach in Seminyak. Sitting in beanbags on the beach, listening to live music and having a few yummy cocktails.

We stayed in Ubud, my favourite part of Bali in the hills and also surrounded by jungle. Creative shopfronts along the roads selling handmade goods, in the surrounding villages, they concentrate on one skill ie Mas - wood carving,  Gianyar regency and particularly Celuk for Silversmiths and amazing jewellery. Not far from Ubud there are Art Galleries and Co-ops where you can watch and observe painters in action and purchase lovely local art work.

We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa with a private pool, @koriubud , this was my 3rd visit to this resort and there are 2 pools to swim in, and lovely open air restaurant  and a spa on site. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. This hotel is within walking distance to several very nice restaurants, a mini mart and a money changer, all necessary for a comfortable stay in Ubud. we walked the 3km from Ubud centre to the hotel , visiting shops along the way and stocking up on souvenirs and munchies at the Bintang Supermarket.

From Ubud we organised a day trip that started with a visit to a local Luwak coffee plantation, with tea and coffee samplings and the most amazing banana pancakes for breakfast. A quick stop to view the Tegallanlang Rice Terraces then on to bike riding in the Mt Kintamani area with @greenbikektour, riding down hill through local villages and visiting a local house compound, the ride took us through some jungle tracks and pass rice terraces. The day ending with an amazing fresh lunch @greenkubu_cafe. With transfer to and from the hotel included.
